ESMC - Advanced Equipment Technician / Servicetechniker (m/w/d)

We are building a team and are looking for skilled Advanced Equipment Technicians to become the backbone of our manufacturing process. In this dynamic role, you will go beyond basic maintenance. You will tackle complex equipment challenges, ensure top-tier quality, and step up as a leader and mentor to our junior technicians.

You are a natural problem-solver who loves mastering complex tools and is passionate about mentoring others and driving continuous improvement.

1. Master the Machinery: Execute advanced preventative maintenance (PM) and troubleshoot complex, high-level equipment issues with minimal engineering guidance.
2. Lead & Inspire: Act as a mentor! Lead junior technicians in daily PM and troubleshooting activities, ensure checklists are flawlessly completed, and coach newcomers to success.
3. Optimize & Innovate: Have an eagle eye for detail? You will identify subtle equipment deviations (e.g., rough movements, worn components), report abnormalities, and help drive process stability.
4. Shape the Standards: Contribute directly to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and demonstrate basic tool troubleshooting for the wider team.
5. Manage Resources: Take ownership of the parts lifecycle—managing scrapped parts and ensuring our inventory is always sufficient and ready to go.
6. Champion Safety: Identify safety risks, create basic safety SOPs, and provide essential safety training to keep your team secure.

1. Education: Successfully completed vocational training in an industrial or mechanical field (IHK certified: Industriemechaniker, Mechatroniker or Elektriker).
2. Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment. Semiconductor industry experience is nice to have.
3. Global Mindset: Practical English skills (Level B1). You must be able to read technical documentation, complete your interview in English, and be excited to travel to Taiwan for a 6 - 9-month comprehensive training program.
4. Flexibility: Ability and willingness to work an 8-hour shift model, which includes nights, weekends, and sometimes public holidays.
5. Work Style: You are highly reliable, structured, and safety-oriented.
6. Attitude: A team-oriented mindset with a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and grow with us.
