Mechanical Wet Engineer (m/f/d)
Discover your exciting roleThe Mechanical Wet Engineer participates in a team environment consisting of engineers and designers to produce construction documents for the following systems: Sanitary systems, plumbing, wastewater treatment, natural gas supply system, controls and the like.Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesPerforms engineering tasks for the design of utilities, sanitary systems, plumbing, wastewater treatment, natural gas supply system for high technology facilities including cleanrooms, general manufacturing/process facilities and institutional facilitiesPrepares mechanical engineering calculations in support of water hydraulics, static pressure calculations, equipment sizing and selectionCoordinates with disciplines in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensuring those other disciplines’ inputs are incorporatedSupports project on-site execution and make decisions to support projects and act as technical consultantAssists in providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertiseAssists in developing studies and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by discipline teamWorks closely with the project team and other disciplines as well as other design officesAssists in the development of conceptual design, preliminary design, and final design documents which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting of these systems, the development of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams, general arrangements and sequences of operation associated with these systemsWorks on a variety of wet services sanitary systems, including waste water treatment, rainwater and other gravity drainage systems, whilst understanding their impact on the environment and collaborating across disciplines to minimize itShow your expertiseBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical education background requiredSeveral years of experience with Sanitary Systems, Waste Water Systems & Rain Water Systems - Natural Gas Supply System experience would be advantageousAdvanced Technology Facilities experience preferred (such as e.g. semiconductors)Very good knowledge of Autodesk Building Systems SoftwareGeneral knowledge of codes and common industry standards related to the design of industrial and manufacturing facilities and systemsMust be a strong team player with an ability to build effective working relationships with individuals, department leads and client representativesFluent German & and very good English language skillsWhat we offer youYour start at Exyte: Take part in a two-day onboarding event with new colleaguesAttractive location: Our location features spacious workstations with height-adjustable desksBuddy-System: Several weeks of close familiarisation with your colleagues in the teamWork-life balance: There is always the possibility of switching to mobile workingCatering: Free coffee specialities as well as water dispensers are accessible on every floorKeep fit: Exyte subsidises your fitness contract through Qualitrain at over 5,000 locations in GermanyContactYou want to be part of the Exyte team?
