Senior/Principal Software Developer - Web Technologies and Rendering (m/f/d)

Your mission

Help us design, develop, and productization the next generation web engine for mobile and PC scenarios by supporting us in one or more of the following areas:

• Architectural, algorithmic, and local optimizations of engine code, such as compiler, layout, or interpreter;

• Development and evaluation of high-quality prototypes for the next generation web engine;

• Development and application of tools based on formal methods to improve the stability and ensure the timely productization of innovative optimizations.

Your areas of expertise

• BSc/Master or PhD in Computer Science or other related disciplines;

• Profound knowledge of at least one of: Rust or C++;

• Basic knowledge in concurrency and parallelism;

• Familiarity with web technologies (implementations of Servo, v8, or related technologies, or web standards lawyering) or compiler technologies is a plus;

• Familiarity with formal methods is a plus;

• Experience with systems-level programming a plus;

• Passion for software quality and performance, and openness to learn from failure;

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
