Due to continued growth and the expansion of our project portfolio in Germany, we are currently seeking experienced Junior and Senior EHS Officers to join our site team in Dresden. The Role

As a Site EHS Officer , you will be responsible for supporting and implementing Instrotec's Health & Safety standards on site, ensuring compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and relevant German and international safety legislation.

We are seeking candidates at both Junior and Senior levels , offering opportunities for experienced Safety Professionals as well as those looking to progress their career within a leading construction environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, supporting site teams, and ensuring that all works are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture across the project.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety observations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, project requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of project-specific Health & Safety plans.
• Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and corrective action tracking.
• Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and workforce communications.
• Monitor safe working practices across all construction activities.
• Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and client representatives on safety matters.
• Maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and reports.
• Review RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) and ensure effective implementation on site.
• Assist with compliance reporting and safety performance metrics.

Requirements

• Relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH / IOSH / equivalent preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and legislation.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced site environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop within an international project setting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or high-tech projects.
• Experience working within an international project environment.
• Knowledge of German Health & Safety requirements is advantageous.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical installation projects is beneficial.
• German language skills are advantageous but not essential.
