Key to supporting KLA business is the finance team that partners with corporate and global business organizations to provide expertise and guidance for developing and executing sound business models and practices. The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform general ledger accounting in compliance with local GAAP (HGB), US GAAP, and internal accounting policiesPrepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activitiesReconcile, analyze, and evaluate balance sheet accountsSupport the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, including statutory fiscal year-end closePrepare statutory reports, including VAT returnsSupport internal and external audits and respond to audit inquiriesContribute to the documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement of accounting processesCollaborate closely with local and international finance stakeholdersParticipate in cross-functional, finance-related optimization projectsMinimum QualificationsYOUR SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting within an international companyBachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, or completed vocational training (e.g. certified accountant)Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB); US GAAP knowledge is an advantageStrong SAP skills (S/4HANA or another ERP system) and very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and OutlookStrong analytical skills with high attention to detailStructured, reliable, and proactive working styleAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in an international teamStrong commitment to meeting deadlinesOpen and effective communication skillsContinuous improvement mindset with a strong focus on process and task optimizationAbility to handle multiple tasks in parallelVery good German and English language skillsFlexible, highly motivated mindsetWHAT WE OFFER:Permanent employment.Performance-based, attractive pay.Variable compensation components, e.g. participation in company stock purchase plan.Outstanding social benefits.Hybrid working model (office/ remote work) and flexible working time.Extensive initial and needs-oriented training.Excellent development opportunities.Challenging and varied tasks in a highly motivated and qualified team.Nice office and working place with high quality software and hardware for your working needs.We offer a competitive, family friendly total rewards package.
