As a member of the MACH team, you’ll be joining the most sophisticated and successful process-control company in the semiconductor industry--working across functions to solve the most complex technical problems in the digital age.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsAbout KLAAs a trusted software solution provider within KLA — one of the world’s leading manufacturers of process control and yield management solutions for the semiconductor industry — we develop and operate software that ensures stable, efficient, and scalable semiconductor manufacturing.Our Dresden‑based team is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) to help shape our DevOps platform, tooling, and development workflows.About the RoleAs a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be part of an agile team, working closely with software developers, a Product Owner (IT Infrastructure Manager), and a Scrum Master.Your responsibilities will include:Designing, implementing, and operating modern DevOps solutions to enable reliable CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑native deployments.Supporting development teams in continuously integrating and delivering new features.Driving and owning the migration from Atlassian tooling (e.g. Jira/Bitbucket) to Azure DevOps.Shaping our DevOps standards, tooling, and processes with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and security.Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our working environment, processes, and platform architecture.Acting as a technical expert and mentor within the DevOps domain.Minimum QualificationsIdeal background for this role:Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification.Several years of professional experience in DevOps engineering, software development, or platform engineering.Strong hands on experience with CI/CD, container platforms, and infrastructure automation.Experience with database systems and basic database administration concepts.The perseverance to deep dive into complex systems, design scalable solutions, and continuously refine them.A passion for modern software engineering practices and technologies.Enjoyment in collaborating with teams and sharing knowledge with junior engineers.
