Discover your exciting roleAs an Expert Contract / Claim Management - Mechanical (m/f/d) in Procurement & Subcontract Management, you will be responsible for technically demanding mechanical work packages throughout the entire project lifecycle – from the bidding phase through execution and commercial management on the construction site to project completion. Become part of a diverse and international team and shape the future with us!Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesResponsibility for the preparation of tenders, negotiation, awarding, and execution of works contracts and works-and-supply contracts with a value in the multi million euro range.Monitoring and progress control of subcontractor performance with focus on mechanical systems.Commercial handling of subcontractor claims.Supplement and change management to/from subcontractors.Claim management in close cooperation with contract management.Minimizing risks that may arise from subcontractor delays through proactive planning and communication.Negotiating contract conclusions.Close cooperation with engineering, design, quality management, planning, and project management to ensure smooth project execution.Continuous improvement management through regular feedback and implementation of lessons learned.Regular reporting to the Project Procurement Manager.Show your expertiseCompleted technical education or degree in mechanical engineering or similar.Several years’ experience in project management in large-scale projects, preferably in the construction or plant engineering industry.Solid knowledge in relevant mechanical discipline, e.g. HVAC and waste water.Understanding of project execution models (EPC, EPCM, etc.).Very good IT skills, particularly MS Office and ERP systems (ideally SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, RIB iTWO).Knowledge of handling contracts in accordance with VOB, BGB or HOAI is an advantages.Proficient in both English and German, spoken and written.Flexibility and willingness to travel nationally, with on-site work depending on the project phase.Decisiveness, openness to change, strong interpersonal skills, and a solution-oriented working style.What we offer youAre you looking for challenging projects?
