Senior Architect of Cross-Platform Framework (m/f/d)

Huawei's Munich Research Center is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products.

With the rapid development of the HarmonyOS ecosystem, an increasing number of application partners need to integrate with the HarmonyOS platform and deploy on Huawei's terminal products. The research center plans to expand the HarmonyOS backend capabilities for various cross-platform frameworks to address pain points related to performance, power consumption, and user experience, thereby building the core competitiveness in the future foundational software field for the company's terminals. Currently, there is a need for a cross-platform framework architect to plan and guide the overall strategy, enhance influence within academia and industry, and connect with local and global research communities.

Senior Architect of Cross-Platform Framework (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Responsible for the ecological competitiveness of cross-platform frameworks: lead the team to implement key frameworks for HarmonyOS integration and expand the Harmony ecosystem.
• Responsible for the overall technical competitiveness of cross-platform frameworks: explore vertical integration and optimization from operating systems to frameworks, as well as to applications, achieving the application of key competitiveness in products and ecosystems.
• Gain insight into the development trends of the next generation of cross-platform frameworks, promote the development and cooperation of related technologies, and attract and recruit talent to join Huawei.

Your areas of expertise

• Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related disciplines
• Strong work experience in mainstream cross-platform frameworks
• Successful experience in the design and development of cross-platform framework modules and architectures
• Preference for candidates with strong connections to academia, industry, and the open-source community
  
• Fluent in written and spoken English
