Introduction
GlobalFoundries is seeking an Experienced Reliability Engineer to support the qualification and reliability assessment of advanced semiconductor technologies. In this role, you will work closely with Technology Development, Manufacturing, and Design teams to ensure robust process reliability, support technology qualification, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Job
Plan, execute, and analyze reliability qualification activities for semiconductor technologies and process changes.
Design and characterize reliability test structures to establish reliability models and design rules.
Perform reliability assessments and failure analysis for technology development, fab excursions, and customer issues.
Analyze reliability data and provide recommendations to improve process robustness and product reliability.
Develop and apply reliability models for device degradation and wear-out mechanisms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reliability requirements and support new technology development.
Drive improvements in reliability methodologies, test cycle time, data integrity, and documentation.
Maintain reliability procedures, test methods, and technical documentation.
Support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) requirements and work practices.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in semiconductor reliability engineering, technology development, process integration, or device engineering.
Understanding of semiconductor reliability failure mechanisms such as HCI, NBTI, TDDB, and Electromigration.
Experience with reliability qualification, data analysis, and root cause investigations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
