What will I be doing

Are you looking for an exciting challenge that combines your knowledge from your computer science studies with practical experience? Then you've come to the right place! As an intern (m/f/d) in the area of cloud-native development, you will support our team in the development of innovative software solutions.

The Fioneer Credit Workplace is a new product for mapping the entire life cycle of commercial real estate loans. As part of your role, you will support the team in the further development of the Fioneer Credit Workplace and its product launch process - you will take on tasks from the following spectrum:

• Accompanying the entire development process, from requirements definition to implementation and deployment of the finished application.
• Designing and developing modern applications in close collaboration with experienced team members.
• Implementation of micro frontends and packages in React (Javascript / Typescript) with a consistent look and feel using UI5-webcomponents-react, utilizing various state of the art technologies like tanstack react-query.
• Participation in the implementation of our robust End-to-End testing framework and it's integration into our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Pipelines (GitHub).

Requirements

You are currently enrolled in :

Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or a comparable STEM degree programme at a German university with above-average academic performance.

Topic Expertise:

• Strong written and spoken English skills and advanced proficiency in written and spoken German .
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) .
• Independent and structured work style with a strong focus on quality, and maintainability.
• Strong experience with modern SPA frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue ), React experience is a plus.
• Experience with Javascript, Typescript, Routing and using REST APIs.
• Initial experience with Micro Frontends , different bundlers, and package development is an advantage.
• Interest in end-to-end testing technologies, especially Playwright .
• Interest in cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure .
• Interest in CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions ).
• Ideally, already gained some experience in agile environments and project-based software development.
