Responsibilities:

• The implementation of MSL ISO45001 & ISO14001 Safety & Environmental Management System
• Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) requirements
• Apply relevant legislation, especially the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005
• Ensure alignment with PSDP/PSCS duties were applicable
• Oversee all mechanical works (HVAC, piping, plumbing) for safe execution
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety walks
• Enforce PPE, permit-to-work systems, and method statements
• Prepare and review RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
• Ensure proper control measures are implemented and followed
• Deliver toolbox talks and site inductions
• Promote safety awareness and behavioural safety culture
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences
• Report notifiable incidents to the HSA
• Implement corrective and preventive actions
• Liaise with Project Manager
• The maintaining of MSL site safety folders
• Attending daily white board meetings
• Attending site Weekly Safety Meetings
• Attending daily MSL SPA board meetings
• Completing weekly inspections & GA3 & GA2 forms
• Completing weekly toolbox talks
• Updating PMs & CMs on MSL Monthly safety meeting & company safety alerts.
• Completing weekly site audits
• Liaising with the Client / PSCS on safety matters onsite
• Delivering MSL Site Specific Induction

Requirements

• Safety Advisor with DIP in SHWW or recognized equivalent
• Minimum 5yrs Experience
• Mechanical background preferable but not essential
• Pharma Experience required
