Following the award of a major new semiconductor project in Dresden, Germany, we are seeking an experienced Storeman / Materials Coordinator to join our growing European operations team.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Project Management Team, the Storeman / Materials Coordinator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the site stores, ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are received, stored, controlled, and issued efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating material deliveries, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring materials are available when required to support project programme requirements.

Working closely with the Project Management Team, Site Supervisors, Procurement Team, suppliers, and subcontractors, the Storeman / Materials Coordinator will ensure effective materials management, minimise delays, and maintain a well-organised and controlled site stores environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient site storage area.

Implement effective storage procedures to ensure materials are easily accessible and traceable.

Manage tool allocation, returns, and equipment tracking.

Maintain records of plant, equipment, and asset movements.

Support site teams with material requests and logistics coordination.

Assist with stock audits and regular inventory checks.

Ensure all materials are handled in line with health and safety requirements.

Coordinate waste segregation and disposal processes in line with environmental requirements.

Support site mobilisation, demobilisation, and project close-out activities.

Administration & Reporting

Maintain accurate stores documentation, including delivery dockets, stock records, and material registers.

Update material tracking systems and spreadsheets.

Assist with monthly stock reports and inventory reviews.

Maintain records for traceability and quality requirements.

Liaise with suppliers, logistics providers, and project teams regarding deliveries.

Ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with company and client procedures.

Requirements

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to organise, prioritise, and manage workload effectively.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a wider project team.
