To support the Dresden Subsidy Team, we are seeking an Experienced Financial Analyst in the area of public funded projects . In this role, you will take ownership of financial administration, reporting, and compliance activities related to public funding. You will collaborate closely with technical project coordination and various cross-functional departments.

Your Job

• Continuous monitoring of public funded projects with regard to deviations from plan, compliance with funding decisions, and applicable legal frameworks.

• Responsibility for payment requests, internal and external financial reporting, as well as documentation requirements.

• Set up and ongoing monitoring of processes for funding gap management, ensuring transparency, alignment and effective control mechanisms.

• Preparation and execution of audits requested by relevant funding agencies.

• Execution of accounting tasks related to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Close cooperation with funding agencies and external consultants.

• Identification, implementation, and support of process improvements and automation opportunities.

• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on objectives.

• Support global subsidies reporting and compliance oversight.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.

• Experience in Subsidy Management and Financial Compliance topics desirable. Strong analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, global environment.

• Strong communication skills in German and English (C1).

• Broad experience with MS Office applications, especially Excel.

• Ability to work independently with a high degree of responsibility.

• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate constructively across teams and regions.
