Internship: 6G Wireless Communications Prototyping

The deployment of G is ongoing, and the focus of researchers in academia and industry is already shifting to the th generation of wireless communications. As with G, NI wants to be on the leading edge and is preparing for the next technology wave.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Working on a prototyping system for G Wireless Communications Research
• Plan, set up, and conduct measurement campaigns and experiments
• Implement compelling demonstrators and Proof of Concepts for G communication systems to be showcased at conferences

• You work effectively in a group environment, problem-solve, diagnose technical issues and propose reasonable solutions.
• You prepare content for communication that is impactful and reach out to mentors with questions to help drive progress and completion of goals and tasks.
• You are passionate about wireless technology and like to learn and work with the latest test and measurement techniques and equipment.
  

For this Role, You Will Need:

• Ongoing academic studies in electrical engineering or computer science with a focus on communication systems (from th semester)
• Basic knowledge in Linux, Python, and C programmingDigital signal processing (, OFDM)Wireless Communications
• Interest in hands-on experimentation and prototyping
• Self-organized and structured working style
• Good command of spoken and written English and/or German
• Availability for months starting in April
• This internship must be a mandatory part of your studies

• Basic knowledge in Machine Learning
